Motor Technicians

We are currently recruiting Motor Technicians for our Cork based Motor Dealerships. We are on the search for individuals who are passionate about the motor industry, customer service and teamwork, and who are ready to take on the challenge of working with us in one of Ireland’s largest Motor Groups. The Group has three car dealerships situated on the Bandon Road, Bishopstown, on the Douglas Road and in the Mahonpoint Retail Park, all in Cork City. The company represents over ten brands.


Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them. 
  • Carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification and to manufacturers’ guidelines.
  • To work to meet the efficiency standards on the aftersales department.
  • Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI’s, service reports) in line with warranty and dealer requirements. 
  • Work with other workshop and dealership colleagues to provide excellent customer service and to share best practice. 
  • Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times including the use of tools.  
  • To communicate with the Parts department to obtain parts needed.
  • To perform vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • To notify Service Advisors immediately if additional work is required, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
  • To save and tag any parts if the job is under warranty.


What are we looking for?

  • You will be a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician, with experience on modern vehicle electronics
  • You will be organised, flexible and prepared to work as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills with colleagues and customers
  • You will have strong problem-solving skills and a strong customer- focused approach
  • You will be diligent and work well under pressure
  • You will have experience in working to high standards of Health and Safety procedures
  • You are required to have a full clean drivers licence
  • Fluent English
  • Be able to work to high standards and be highly motivated to learn
  • You will be professional and maintain a high standard of personal presentation
  • Previous experience with our franchise is an advantage but not a requirement

Rental Sales Agent

We are currently recruiting an additional Rental Sales Agent for our Cork based Truck and Van Rental branch. We are on the search for individuals who are passionate about the motor industry, customer service and teamwork, and who are ready to take on the challenge of working with us in one of Ireland’s largest Motor Groups. Our rental branch has built up a reputation for supplying quality vans at very competitive rates along with excellent customer service in both Cork and Dublin.


Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Make expert recommendations to customers and advise and sell option extras according to the customer’s requirements
  • Handle all customer enquires in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Deal with customer enquiries concerning rental cost and availability, making reservations and explaining our terms and conditions
  • Delivery & collection of vans & trucks
  • To be the key contact at the commencement of the rental including completing paperwork with customers and taking payment, showing customers to their vehicles and completing the handover process
  • At the end of the rental, you will carry out formal check-in process, including the completion of all paperwork, and finalisation of charges
  • Manage all of the administration and enquiries involved with rental vehicles to both businesses and the public
  • Responsible for maintaining all vehicles to the required quality standards
  • Be involved in the cleaning of interior and exterior of the vehicles on return


What are we looking for?

  • You will need to have a full clean category C driver’s licence
  • Fluent English, both verbal and written is a pre-requisite for this role
  • Be able to work to high standards and be highly motivated to learn
  • Be able to work well as part of a team, be target driven, and can deliver and enjoy making sales targets
  • Experience in a similar role would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven track record in a client facing role
  • Good IT Skills, and have excellent attention to detail, accuracy and numeracy skills
  • You will be professional and maintain a high standard of personal presentation

Parts Advisor

We are currently recruiting a Parts Advisor for our Mahonpoint Dealership. We are on the search for individuals who are passionate about cars, customer service and teamwork, and who are ready to take on the challenge of working with us in one of Ireland’s largest Motor Groups. Our Mahonpoint dealership is home to four innovative and modern franchise brands making this an excellent opportunity for the right individual.

Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Accurate recording of stock into and out of our dealer management system ensuring accuracy of deliveries from suppliers and franchise partners against purchase orders
  • Supplying accurate and detailed parts quotations to our internal departments, retail and trade customers alongside dealing with any enquiries we receive by telephone, email or face to face
  • Identifying, locating, invoicing, issuing parts and receiving payment for consumables issued to customers and other departments using our dealer management system
  • Undertaking regular stock takes and ensuring that the work area is kept to a high standard of cleanliness and other duties relating to Health and Safety policy
  • Attendance at relevant training programmes and internal company meetings
  • The unloading and loading parts onto the delivery van and moving parts to the required locations, along with the delivery of parts
  • Assist in all aspects of parts administration
  • Maintaining product knowledge on the full franchise range


What are we looking for?

  • You will need to have a full clean driving licence
  • Be fluent in English
  • Be able to work to high standards and be highly motivated to learn
  • Have a passion for cars
  • Be able to work well as part of a team
